Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic – statements made after reviewing previous work and illustration with examples. Rational numbers are denoted as decimals in terms of terminating/non-terminating recurring decimals.
NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Syllabus Maths Chapter 2 Polynomials – Term I
The chapter Polynomials begins with a definition of the degree of the polynomial, linear polynomial, quadratic polynomial, and cubic polynomial. This chapter contains four exercises, one of which is optional.
Exercise 2.1 includes questions about determining the number of zeroes in a graph. It necessitates an understanding of the Geometrical Meaning of a Polynomial’s Zeroes.
Exercise 2.2 is based on the Relationship Between Zeroes and Coefficients of a Polynomial, and students must find the zeroes of a quadratic polynomial as well as the quadratic polynomial in some of the questions. The concept of division algorithm is defined in Exercise 2.3, and students will find questions related to it.
2.4 is an optional exercise that consists of questions from all the concepts of Chapter 2.

NCERT Solutions of Class 10 Maths Chapter 3 Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables – Term I
The concept of a Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables is covered in this section. This chapter contains a total of seven exercises, each of which explains a different method of solving the pair of linear equations.
In Exercise 3.1, you’ll learn how to represent a situation algebraically and graphically.
Exercise 3.2 explains how to solve a pair of linear equations by using Graphical Method.
Exercises 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, and 3.6, respectively, describe the Algebraic Method, Elimination Method, Cross-Multiplication Method, and Substitution Method.
Exercise 3.7 is an optional exercise that includes a variety of questions. To grasp the method of solving linear equations, students must keep practicing these exercises.
Topics Covered in Class 10 Syllabus Maths Chapter 3 Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables for Term I:
Lear about a pair of linear equations with two variables and a graphical method for solving them, as well as consistency and inconsistency. Algebraic conditions to reach various solutions. Solution of a pair of linear equations in two variables algebraically – by substitution and by elimination. Simple situational problems. Simple problems on equations reducible to linear equations.
NCERT Solutions of Class 10 Maths Chapter 4 Quadratic Equations – Term II
Students will learn the standard form of writing a quadratic equation in this chapter and also how to solve a quadratic equation using the factorization method and the completing the square method. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the nature of roots.
NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Maths Chapter 5 Arithmetic Progressions – Term II
This chapter introduces students to a new topic, Arithmetic Progression (AP). There are four exercises in this chapter.
In Exercise 5.1, students will find questions about representing a situation in the form of AP, determining the first term and difference of an AP, and determining whether or not a series is AP. Exercise 5.2 includes questions about calculating the nth term of an AP using the following formula:
an = a + (n-1) d
The following exercise, 5.3, contains questions about calculating the sum of an AP’s first n terms. The final exercise includes AP-based higher-level questions to help students improve their analytical and problem-solving skills.
Topics Covered in Class 10 Maths Chapter 5 Arithmetic Progressions for Term II:
Students in Class 10 CBSE Maths will study figures that have the same shape but not necessarily the same size in Chapter 6. Triangles begins with the concept of a similar and congruent figure. It goes on to explain the condition for the similarity of two triangles as well as theorems about triangle similarity. Following that, the areas of similar triangles have been explained with a theorem. The Pythagoras Theorem and its converse are described at the end of this chapter.
NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Maths Chapter 7 Coordinate Geometry – Term I
Students will learn how to find the distance between two points whose coordinates are given, as well as the area of a triangle formed by three given points, in this chapter. Students will also learn how to find the coordinates of the point that divides a line segment connecting two given points in a given ratio. In this chapter of Coordinate Geometry, students will learn about the Distance Formula, Section Formula, and Area of a Triangle.
NCERT Solutions Class 10 Maths Chapter 7 Coordinate Geometry
NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Maths Chapter 8 Introduction to Trigonometry – Term I
Trigonometry will be introduced to students in this chapter. They will investigate trigonometric ratios of angles, which are ratios of a right triangle to its acute angles. The chapter also defines trigonometric ratios for angles ranging from 00 to 900. Students will also understand how to calculate trigonometric ratios for specific angles and establish trigonometric identities involving these ratios.

NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Maths Chapter 9 Some Applications of Trigonometry – Term II
This chapter is a continuation of the previous chapter in that students will learn about trigonometry applications here. It is used in geography, navigation, map construction, and determining an island’s position in relation to longitudes and latitudes. In this chapter, students will learn how to use trigonometry to calculate the heights and distances of various objects without having to measure them. They will learn the terms line of sight, angle of elevation, and angle of depression.
Topics Covered in Class 10 Maths Chapter 9 Some Applications of Trigonometry for Term II:
NCERT Solutions for Class 10 Maths Chapter 11 Constructions – Term II
There are two exercises in this chapter. Whatever students have learned about construction in previous classes will also be beneficial. Students will learn how to divide a line segment in Exercise 11.1, and how to construct tangents to a circle in Exercise 11.2. Methods and steps for construction are explained, and some examples are provided to help students understand.
